Based in Shetland, we are the most northerly music shop in the UK.

 

Specialising in traditional music, we are an independent business run by Peter and Inga Wood, and have been trading for nine years.

 

Being situated in Shetland, one of the most vibrant traditional music areas in the UK, we stock an extensive range of Shetland music on CD, DVD, video and in books.  Famous names such as Willie Hunter, Aly Bain, Jenna Reid and many more are represented in our stock.

 

Several Shetland bands featuring a wide variety of music types including Scottish, folk, country and rock are featured  in our stock.  Included in these are Fiddlers Bid, Da Fustra, Hom Bru, Sheila Henderson and others.

 

Many of our national names, both past and present, are included in our vast collection of traditional artistes on CD, DVD and video including Scottish dance bands, accordion, fiddle and vocal.

 

We can also provide peripheral items for instruments at a competetive price.  Contact us for our selection of fiddle and guitar strings, instrument cable and other musical accessories.

 

Over the past years we have built up a mail order service providing a prompt service.  Any orders received are normally dealt with within 24 hours unless the item is temporarily out of stock.  Any item not in stock that has to be ordered is usually obtained within 7 days.

 

Goods advertised on this site are available at this time.  However, any title may be discontinued from time to time, and may thus be impossible for us to source.  In such a case supply would be beyond our control.
